After years of working in the construction field, serving 8 years in the USAF, and then working in the IT field, Pastor Ed attended Christ for the Nations Bible Institute (Dallas, TX) where he graduated with an associate’s degree in Practical Theology. He was ordained with the Assemblies of God in West Texas District in 2024.
Pastor Ed has served God in the following capacities over the years:
- 2009-2012 – Assistant Pastor at Living Word Community Church – Mechanicsville, MD
- 2014-2017 – Lead pastor at Faith Assembly of God – Wiley Ford, WV
- 2017-2024 – Campus Pastor & Educational Director at a Teen Challenge ministry – Amarillo, TX
Pastor Ed loves most “things sports”, fishing, his pup, Patriot, and most of all his family. His life verse is Matthew 6:33, which reads as follows:
33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Raquel is currently studying towards an Associate of Science in Ministry Leadership at Ascent College with a projected graduation date of 2027. She is the current director of “Living Stones Kids’ Ministry” at MBAG and is a unit leader for the Explorers class with the American Heritage Girls (AHG) Troop VA 4789.
Raquel loves crocheting, scrapbooking, that perfect fall day, and most of all – serving her family. Her life verse is 1 Peter 2:9 which reads as follows:
9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light..
Pastor Ed & Raquel, along with their youngest son & pup, moved to Virginia in December 2024 to love on & serve the members of Monroe Bay A/G and its community.
